This layered glass monumental sculpture is created to remind us of how important it is to always aim higher, strive for better and work with ourselves to improve every aspect of our lives.
The twist in the body of the sculpture signifies the dynamic nature of development process. 6mm, 8mm and 10mm selective and clear glass sheets each reverberate sunlight in a unique way. A combination of six different types of glass were used to achieve the best visual impression in natural light and an effect of an upward motion. Thus, despite the seemingly simple form of the sculpture, the nuances of the light and shade interactions were powerful enough to catch ones eye and lift the spirit to the heights of aesthetical experience.
