Monumental Layered Glass Sculpture

Dimensions 2400 x 550 x 500 mm

Sold

Halitus was inspired by the transience of entwining fine smoke of incense. The curving, sensuous, crystallized forms reflect modern oriental cityscape and neo-futuristic architecture, such as is created by outstanding Santiago Calatrava Valls and was created by legendary Zaha Hadid.

The main attribute of this layered glass monumental sculpture is the optical illusion of plasticity and visual lightness created form the solid and heavy material- glass. This is achieved though a combination of several treatment technologies. The sculpture is composed of three intertwined elements. The rim of the glass is imparted with a rippling effect, while the point of contact of the three elements have been left clear and transparent, thus visually blurring it and leading one's attention to the rhythm of the twining.
